Material Solidification

Material Solidification

Our large quad shredder treats and solidifies a wide variety of wastes, producing a non-hazardous treatment cake. Shredding containers ranging in size from 500ml bottles to 1,200 litre Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC), we can offer generous flexibility for how waste can be packaged.

This long-standing process has been optimised over the years, to ensure liquids, sludges, powders and solids are treated safely and efficiently. We also offer the solidification process for certain hazardous wastes.

Examples of the types of waste processed are:

1. Water-based paints

2. Glues/adhesives

3. Bitumen

4. Resins, polyols and hardeners

5. Firefighting foam

6. Acidic sludges and powders

7. Alkaline sludges and powders
