Castle Environmental Partner With Erewash Sound As Key Corporate Sponsor

Castle Environmental are delighted to announce our partnership with Erewash Sound as a key corporate sponsor. This is just the latest initiative announced by the Company in line with our robust and ambitious Corporate & Social Responsibility Policy.

Having operated from our Derbyshire based hazardous waste treatment facility since the mid 1990s, the Company have deep roots in the local area. As a major employer who takes pride in contributing a considerable amount to the local economy on a yearly basis, Castle are keen to be a positive influence to the communities around our 3 treatment plants. 

This strong desire to be a leading local employer and national provider of waste treatment and recycling services is seen in the social and environmental programmes the Company are proud to be involved with.

Castle's support of Erewash Sound will enable the station to continue to provide inspirational training to youngsters in the local area through their Erewash Sound Academy. The Academy was formed in 2013 and was developed to assist and encourage local teenagers to develop the necessary skills to join the Erewash Sound on-air team. Through the Academy, not only do students learn new skills, but the courses also improve confidence, communication, and increase employment prospects.
