Bagged APCr Contract, South coast

An Energy From Waste (EFW) plant was producing around 4,000 tonne per annum of Sodium Carbonate-based APCr.

With very few facilities able to treat Sodium Carbonate-based residues, the EFW was struggling to find a reliable and cost-effective solution for their complex waste.

Castle Environmental invested heavily in upgrading site infrastructure to provide dedicated handling equipment to ensure the bagged residues could be treated in the most environmentally friendly manner. This allowed us to expand beyond processing lime-based residues and enabled us to support the customer for many years with a successful and cost-effective service.
